A Bit About Me
I know that successful students become successful adults. I have worked in education for 21 years. I previously worked for a private preschool before getting a job with Head Start where I worked 14 years, 8 of those as the classroom teacher. I started at The Millard School in 2018, because I wanted to work in an environment that was Christian-oriented and put the needs of the children above anything else. I received my Associates in Science and completed the Human Services Program in 2009 at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. I love working with children because they help you see the new and exciting things all around you that you might have forgotten about or never noticed before. Each day is a new adventure.
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”
-Psalm 127:3-
I believe that we should do everything possible to help them grow, learn, feel loved and become successful in life.
